About
Harry is a recent graduate with a Master’s degree in Design Engineering from Imperial College London, where he achieved First Class Honours and was consistently recognized for his academic excellence, including being listed on the Dean’s List in multiple years.
Throughout his academic journey, Harry engaged in a diverse array of modules, including Machine Learning, Human Centered Design, Industrial Design, and Engineering Mathematics. He showcased his expertise by presenting at the ‘AutoTech: Detroit’ conference in the USA, where he shared insights from a university technology project. Additionally, Harry served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the ‘Data Science’ module, highlighting his commitment to academic support and mentorship.
Harry’s professional journey is marked by impactful internships at renowned organizations. At Amazon, he excelled as a Technical Program Manager Intern, managing a substantial entitlement product and significantly improving its key OEE metric. Adept use of PM methodologies and stakeholder management skills were instrumental in achieving these results.
During his tenure at Coutts & Co, part of NatWest Group, he made notable contributions as a Strategist and Innovation Intern, where he automated workflows and conducted Design Thinking workshops. His efforts resulted in increased efficiency and enhanced employee engagement. As a Strategist Intern at YaYa Digital Design Consultancy, he led projects involving end-to-end digital client journeys and strategies for FTSE100 companies.
Beyond his professional roles, Harry has displayed strong leadership and involvement in extracurricular activities. He spearheaded the development of a Flexible Decarbonization Infrastructure Web-App for his Master’s Thesis, showcasing his technical proficiency and ability to lead impactful projects. Additionally, achievements include winning the IBM X NatWest Tech-A-Thon and the Spacebit X Imperial hackathon, where he demonstrated innovative problem-solving skills and received funding for further development.
Achievements extend beyond academia and internships. He was recognized as the winner of the IBM X NatWest Tech-A-Thon, where he developed and pitched a plugin to reduce energy consumption, securing funding for the implementation of the product. Outside of academics and work, he enjoys skiing, football, and reading up on personal finance.
